The Berkshire Film Society is delighted to have been chosen as a Festival Host for the Z-Shorts International Film Festival. This allows us to bring you 116 short films from 23 countries – almost 30 hours of entertainment -- streaming 24/7 throughout September … and is a fundraiser for our organization. Enjoy watching short films from Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, France, Ghana, Guatemala, Hungary, India, Iran, Israel, Italy, New Zealand, Peru, Poland, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, UK, USA.

An exploration of the nexus of art, race and justice through the story of art collector Agnes Gund who sold Roy Lichtenstein's painting "Masterpiece" in 2017 for $165 million to start the Art for Justice Fund to end mass incarceration. The film captures Aggie as a true maverick, who demonstrates the unique role and potential of collectors and benefactors to use art to fight injustice.
