The new Berkshire-region non-profit film organization celebrates the best in American and international cinema.

With a year-round program, The Berkshire Film Society presents screenings of contemporary domestic and international films, many with special guests attending for post screening Q & A's.

See new works from emerging and established independent storytellers with unique voices.

Film screenings are followed by discussion,

a combination, we find, that promotes broader cultural understanding, inspires curiosity and enhances awareness of shared stories and values across generations, religions, ethnicities and borders through the power of cinema.

In 2018-19, we begin our 6th season offering a carefully selected slate of community-building film programming and educational engagement through film.

The Berkshire Film Society presents a rich and diverse mix of movies that includes many films that might not otherwise play in our area.
